What is an online marketplace?

A marketplace is an E-commerce site that gives you the opportunity to sell products to a wide customer base. You can add your catalogue to GAME.co.uk and utilise the advertising and marketing power of a leading brand.

Can my products be included in promotions?

Yes. We promote marketplace products on our homepage, on our Deals page and in our newsletter. If you think you’ve got a great offer your dedicated Account Manager can advise on how to feature it in a promotion.

How much does it cost?

There are no set-up, listing or subscription fees. We charge a commission on items sold only which is competitive with other UK Marketplaces.

Is my business large enough?

If you have products our customers will love, we want to work with you. Submit your interest here and a member of the team will get back to you.

Who decides the product price?

You are in control of pricing your products. We have various tools to help you price your products competitively.

Can I set my own shipping policy?

Yes, so long as items arrive with the customer within 3-5 days (UK orders only). We also give you the option to ship to Europe and Worldwide.

Are sellers protected from fraud?

Yes. All orders go through a thorough fraud checking process.

How many products can I have on your site?

There is no limit to the number of products you can list on GAME Marketplace.

Can all types of products be sold on the Marketplace?

We would encourage you to list products from the following categories:

  • Video Game Accessories
  • PC & Laptop
  • Consumer Electronics
  • Phones & Tablets
  • Drones & Other Gadgets
  • Gaming Merchandise
  • Video Games and Consoles

However, our customers are a forward-thinking bunch and we are always welcome new ideas and innovation. Register your interest here and we’ll let you know if your products suitable for GAME Marketplace.

Are you integrated with any aggregators?

Yes. GAME Marketplace is integrated with Channel Advisor and LinnWorks. If you already use one of these platforms getting started on GAME Marketplace is even easier!

What is the process to add new products?

You can easily add products through the GAME Marketplace platform in one of 4 ways:

  • Using the GAME Marketplace upload CSV templates.
  • Using your own CSV files and mapping your product data to GAME Marketplace categories.
  • Integrating to the GAME Marketplace API to automatically upload your products.
  • Manually upload products on the GAME Marketplace system.
How frequently can I add or remove products?

Products can be added or removed when required and the changes are confirmed to the site daily.

Can I set my store’s Returns Policy?

Yes. You are in charge of setting your Returns Policy. All we require is that it fits within GAME’s general guidelines which a member of the team can advise on.

How long does it take to receive payment?

We strive to pay you as quickly and frequently as possible, therefore, 14 days after an order is marked as shipped it will be placed into a weekly pay run.

Can products be returned in store?

At the moment GAME Marketplace products cannot be returned to a GAME store.

Can customers order products via Click & Collect?

Currently we do not offer Click & Collect to GAME Marketplace customers but this is something that we are looking to implement in the future.
